Hello,

The global situation that we are currently facing has forced companies to adjust their way of doing things to guarantee continuity of their essential operations. We know that as an advisor, you play a key role in supporting clients who, in times of turmoil, may sometimes feel anxious and would like to review their insurance needs.

iA Financial Group would like to support you in that respect.

COVID-19: Focus on non-face-to-face sales!

Since your health and that of your clients is paramount to us, we recommend that you focus on non-face-to-face sales. iA Financial Group, therefore, asks that you encourage telephone or videoconference meetings using Skype and Zoom. A user guide is now available for you in the Advisor Centre and attached to this email.

EVO is the ideal tool to enable non-face-to-face sales

In these circumstances, EVO is by far the tool of choice. Accessible through the Advisor Centre, you can use it through all stages of the sale process up to the client's signature with acceptance at the point of sale!

If your client has an email address, we ask that you enter it in EVO.

Reminder:

  • Age and face amount available with NO medical exams
    • Life insurance: 0-50 years, up to $1 million
    • Critical illness insurance: 0-50 years, up to $200,000

Exceptional circumstances call for customized processes

To help you carry out your business activities, here is a table that summarizes the new non-face-to-face sale process specific to the products below:

- Traditional term and whole life insurance (Maximum face amount of $5 million)
- Critical illness insurance (Maximum face amount of $2.5 million)
- Access Life
- Disability insurance, Superior Program, Universal Loan Insurance, CancerGuard, Acci 7 Plus and Acci-Jet Program

Note: Selling universal life insurance requires in-person identity verification. We are currently working on a solution to simplify the process.
*The electronic signature is not available in the following cases: Replacement, premium paid by cheque, career network interns, the contracting party is a company, the contracting party is not the parent of the child to be insured. In these cases, the paper signature (F1EA) will be accepted.
**New information regarding contract delivery will follow shortly.

Rest assured that during this extraordinary period, our service team remains operational and ready to provide the service you deserve. We are able to receive and process all your insurance requests. As the situation is evolving rapidly, we will continue to keep you informed of any developments.
